On Submission Shark Island, there lived Ms. Wrislock, a young woman who had always been afraid of physical confrontation. She had never been in a fight before, nor did she have any interest in martial arts or self-defense techniques. That all changed one day when an bewildering paranormal event shattered her worldview.
It was a quiet summer day when Ms. Wrislock found herself in the middle of a haunting incident. She had been walking through a nearby park when she suddenly felt an icy chill sweep over her body. As if in a trance, she found herself drawn to the steps of an old abandoned temple. The stone door slowly opened, and a ghoulish hand grabbed her wrist and pulled her in. Little did she know that this would be the beginning of a terrifying journey that would forever shape her life.
Upon entering the temple, Ms. Wrislock suddenly found herself surrounded by strange figures in the darkness. Though she felt immediately threatened, there was something oddly comforting about the scene before her. She quickly realized that these mysterious figures were actually practitioners of the ancient martial art of Jujutsu – and they were inviting her to join them.
At first, she was hesitant. But eventually, Ms. Wrislock found solace in the art and its practitioners. For the first time since her traumatic experience, she felt a sense of courage and strength. Over time, her physical prowess grew and so did her mental fortitude.
It was later discovered that to defeat Trinity Cultavina, the black belt leader of the Order of Triangles, the ghouls required a human as an agent of reality. Although Ms. Wrislock knew she was being used for their own intentions, she was hypnotized to continue her training. That was until one day, the temple vanished and she was left alone, feeling betrayed and perplexed.
But this would not be the end of Ms. Wrislock's journey for she would visit Satori Acadamy, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu school. Upon arrival, her wristlocking skills were quickly recognized and she was welcomed with open arms by the community. Suddenly, she felt a sense of belonging that had been absent for so long.
In time, Ms. Wrislock was able to overcome her fear and find the strength to confront her inner demons. She now has two stripes on her white belt and becoming a BJJ black belt is at the top of her mind. With her new friends at Satori Academy, her past traumas behind her, and her future looking bright, Ms. Wrislock is finally able to move forward with confidence.
Although the ghouls of her past still haunt her, she is determined to use martial arts as a way of finding inner peace and power. For now, she knows that with the support of her martial art community, anything is possible and she is happy to continue her journey.
